Patrick’s Story

July 5, 2021 by DSW in Blogs, success story

Tayebwa Patrick 20 years stays in Butale Kitumba subcounty .

He is a double orphan who stays with his grandmother. Busingye Provia his grandmother says Patrick got accident at 5 years while going at school and since then, his lower parts of the body were damaged.

He cannot stand, walk, take himself to the toilet or do any other work that requires him to move from one position. He moves in a wheelchair. The biggest challenge his grandmother has is daily washing his clothes and bedding since his system was destroyed. He cannot even feel urine or that he needs to go to the toilet.

His grandmother left all other work like going to garden or other work that would bring in income and much time is spent on Patrick. They call us the public to support them with Beddings, soap and food.

DSW managed to support with some of those pressing needs but more support is needed.
