See the Alex’s progress

October 27, 2021 by DSW in Blogs, news, events & activities, success story

We continue to see the progress of Alex ever since we gave him a white cane in 2020 and the role his parents are playing training him on how to use a white cane. Alex is Blind and by the time we identified him in 2020, he was always locked inside house which had caused a very big difference of his skin Color changing because he lacked light.

We visited his home and gave him a white cane to always enable him move around home as his parents claim that they are always busy in gardens and have no one to stay home with Alex so that he can sit outside and get fresh air like any other child.

Since then Alex has been practicing to use a white cane and is able to move in the nearby surroundings. He was part of the PWDs we met on 9th October 2021 and there is a very big improvement. We continue to look for more support so that he is able to report back to school 2022 as it’s his great desire. He dropped out in primary Two.
