Albinism Awareness Day
Every 13th June, we celebrate Persons with Albinism in the whole world. Most communities have neglected, discriminated and left them behind in different community development activities as a result of their skin colour which shouldn’t be the case . This has resulted into their low esteem to perform any duty or contribute positively in the families and communities where they live. We call upon the Government and other bodies to keep sensitizing and raising more awareness about he existence of Albinos and to be treated equally like any other person. IVAN is one of our beneficiaries in our animal project that we are currently running and we celebrate him today.
