Empowering Mobility: Junior’s New Wheelchair

April 24, 2024 by DSW in Blogs, latest, news, events & activities

At Disability Sign World (DSW), we are proud to share the story of Junior, a young boy who faced significant challenges due to his limited mobility. Junior often found himself isolated at home while others attended church, school, or engaged in various activities. His mother struggled to accompany him due to his size and her inability to carry him on her back.

Recognizing the profound impact of this situation, we coordinated efforts to provide Junior with a wheelchair. Delivered to his home in Omwirashaniro, Bugarama, this wheelchair has brought immense joy and relief to Junior and his family. It has granted him the freedom he rightfully deserves, allowing him to participate more fully in daily life despite his disability. This small act of support has made a world of difference for Junior, enabling him to engage with his community and enjoy a greater sense of independence.
